Finance & Control Manager

We are looking for a Finance & Control Manager who is also happy to carry our regulatory agenda: DORA, NIS2 and ISO 27001.

This is a key role for someone who likes being close to the numbers and close to the business. You will support financial controlling for our Iberian unit and coordinate the two external partners who support our accounting, tax and payroll in Portugal and Spain. Alongside that, you will be our reference point for the regulatory topics our customers increasingly ask us about.

As a member of our team you will:

· Support financial controlling for the Iberian unit: budgeting, forecasting, monthly and year-end closing, and reporting.

· Keep the economics of our customer projects visible (cost to complete, margin by project and by customer, and how that margin changes when a project moves from implementation into maintenance.

· Look after the relationship with our external accounting, tax and payroll partners in Portugal and Spain, making sure what they deliver arrives on time and reconciles.

· Be the day-to-day counterpart of our colleagues in Group Finance in Germany, working in English.

· Take care of our regulatory agenda (DORA, ISO 27001, NIS2).

· Help us answer customer due-diligence and audit requests from evidence we already keep, and keep our policies, registers and management-body training up to date.

What we expect from you:

· Proven experience in finance and controlling. A good part of it in IT services, software, consulting or engineering is a plus.

· Comfort with project and contract economics (you can read a project’s margin and explain what is driving it).

· Working familiarity with at least one of DORA, NIS2 or ISO 27001, and real interest in picking up the others with our support.

· A hands-on approach: our team is small, so you will be close to the detail as well as to the overview.

· Strong analytical thinking, clear communication, and the habit of documenting what you do.

· Team-oriented mindset and the ability to work across functions and countries.

· Portuguese and fluent English are a must. Spanish is a plus.

· Based in Porto or surrounding areas is ideal.
