Your mission:
As a Senior Business Analyst – Billing, Accounting & Reporting, you will be the primary point of contact for the customer in these functional areas, taking on a role very close to a Customer Product Owner.
Your mission is to ensure that legal, tax, accounting, and reporting requirements for Life Insurance in Spain are accurately translated into backlogs, user stories, and implementable solutions, while maintaining alignment with the standard core platform.
Key responsibilities:
Act as Senior Business Analyst / Customer PO for Billing, Accounting, and Legal Reporting;
Define, prioritize, and manage the customer backlog;
Elicit, analyze, and document Spanish legal, tax, and accounting requirements for Life Insurance;
Write clear user stories and acceptance criteria;
Ensure alignment between local country requirements and the standard core solution;
Maintain continuous customer interaction through workshops, requirement sessions, and validations;
Coordinate closely with technical and functional teams, including international stakeholders (e.g. Germany);
Analyze the impact of customer-specific processes (e.g. bespoke reporting requirements);
Ensure compliance with all applicable legal, fiscal, and accounting regulations.
What are we looking for:
5 to 10+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in the insurance sector;
Strong and proven experience in Life Insurance;
In-depth knowledge of Spanish legal, tax, accounting, and regulatory reporting;
Demonstrated experience in backlog definition and user story writing;
Fluent Spanish;
Fluent English (international working environment).
Nice to have:
Experience in core insurance system implementations;
Previous exposure to international or multi-country projects.
