We are looking for a Senior Delivery Manager to hold together the day-to-day execution of a complex, multi-stream insurance transformation.
This is a hands-on role at the centre of a core insurance transformation programme in Spain, delivered by multi-stream, international teams. You will help each team build and keep a plan that is realistic and aligned with everyone else's, make the dependencies between them visible, and see that what we commit to with our customer actually happens.
You will own the execution system of the programme (the integrated plan, the dependencies, the critical path, the risks and the follow-through) working alongside the people who own the rest.

As a member of our team you will:
Build and maintain the integrated plan across the streams and keep it something the teams recognise as their own.
Keep milestones and plans aligned between teams, so what one stream promises matches what the next one is expecting.
Map and follow the dependencies across streams and with the customer, and chase the ones that start to drift.
Keep the critical path visible to the teams, to the programme and to the customer.
Spot delivery risks early and work with the teams on mitigation and recovery plans.
Follow through on commitments, actions, blockers and decisions, so that nothing quietly falls between two meetings.
Communicate plans and progress to the customer clearly and consistently.
Work side by side with the Program Manager, the Solution Architect, the Agile Coach and the Stream Leads supporting the teams' delivery commitments without taking them over.
What we expect from you:
Proven senior-level experience driving delivery on large IT transformation programmes, ideally core system implementation or replacement in insurance.
Experience of multi-stream, multi-team programmes, ideally with more than one vendor involved.
Real strength in planning, dependency management, critical path, risk management and recovery planning.
Practical experience of Agile and hybrid Agile ways of working.
The ability to challenge a team constructively and leave accountability where it belongs.
Comfort in international, multicultural environments.
Native or equivalent Spanish and fluent English are both a must.
Being based in Madrid or Zaragoza is ideal.
